When Matix Lumber begins a project in partnership with a First Nations community, our primary goal is to supply a high-quality end result that meets the needs of everyone involved. To ensure that these goals are met, we work closely with the leadership of the community during the planning process so that expectations are heard and addressed altogether. This strategy has led us to the successful completion of many projects including band offices, arenas, and RTMs. No two projects are the same and we aim to consistently align ourselves with the needs of each community.

As a family business, Matix Lumber understands the importance of building strong relationships and going beyond just our construction services. Every year, Matix takes part in sponsoring events like treaty day celebrations, sports teams, and elder feasts. These contributions are a longstanding tradition at Matix, as our founder Tony Matic believed that strengthening the foundation of a community is necessary in keeping it together.
